SCRUBGRASS TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — Franklin-based State Police say around 10:00 p.m. on May 25, a one-car accident occurred on Interstate 80 West, 591 feet east of Stone Church Road, in Scrubgrass Township, Venango County.

According to police, 38-year-old Laurel J. Zwissler, of Mt. Pleasant, was traveling on I-80 in a 2006 Toyota Prius and struck a deer on the roadway.

Zwissler and her passenger David K. Ferris, of Mt. Pleasant, were using seat belts and were not injured in the collision.
