Driver Escapes Injury in Rollover Crash in Clarion Township

CLARION, Pa. (EYT) — According to Clarion-based State Police, a one-car accident occurred on Interstate 80 East, at Exit 64 off ramp, in Clarion Township.

Police say around 1:52 a.m. on May 22, 24-year-old Mario G. Chiotti, of Clarion, was traveling eastbound on I-80 and attempted to leave the interstate at Exit 64.

Chiotti’s 2002 Chrysler Sebring left the roadway on the south side, struck an embankment, and overturned, according to police.

Chiotti was not injured.

He was not using a seat belt.

He was charged with violating several sections of PA Vehicle Code, police say.
