FARMINGTON TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — Marienville-based State Police say around 7:05 p.m. on May 24, a one-vehicle crash occurred on State Route 66, 525 feet north of Arnold Avenue, Farmington Township, Clarion County.

According to police, 56-year-old Paul S. Cocheres, of Pittsburgh, was traveling north on SR 66. Just after passing Arnold Avenue, he realized that he missed his turn and was looking back.

Police say Cocheres’ 2014 Mazda CX5 traveled across the southbound lane of SR 66 and impacted a ditch, causing all front airbags to deploy.

The vehicle came to a rest facing north in the ditch on the west side of SR 66, according to police.

Cocheres suffered minor injuries.

A passenger in the vehicle, 60-year-old Ruth L. Cocheres, of Pittsburgh, was not injured.

Both occupants were using seat belts.

Farmington Township Volunteer Fire Department, Shippenville Ambulance, and Snyder’s Auto Body assisted at the scene.
