Member_146972[1]Cynthia J. Davis, 56, of Main Street, Parker, passed away following a short illness Tuesday afternoon, May 26, 2015 at Butler Memorial Hospital with her family at her side.

Cynthia was born in Butler on January 15, 1959. She was the daughter of the late William A. and Maureen McClaine Davis.
Cindy was a 1977 graduate of Allegheny-Clarion Valley High School in Foxburg. She was a member of St. Eusebius Roman Catholic Church in East Brady, where she was baptized.

She was an avid reader, and especially liked reading Stephen King novels. Cindy enjoyed visiting the beaches in Florida, collecting Precious Moments and other collectables, listening to Patsy Cline music, and watching her favorite movie, “Gone with the Wind.”

She was a proud mother and grandmother and cherished the company of her family. She was proud of having achieved her certification as a licensed electrician.

Surviving are three children, Jennifer Batson and her husband. Phran, of Clarion, Jason Jordan and his wife, Nicole, of Stow, OH, and Jared Jordan of Liberty, OH; five grandchildren, Brayton, Jarah, Janelle, Joshua, and Gabriele; four brothers, Bob Davis and his partner, Floyd Ishman, of Cleveland, OH, Larry Davis and his wife, Peggy, of East Brady, Louis Davis Sr. and his wife, Darlene, of Sligo, and Jeff Davis and his wife, Michelle, of Parker; a sister, Lynna McNany and her husband, Doug, of Harrisville, as well as a number of nieces, nephews, and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Janelle, and a brother, William A. “Bill” Davis.

Friends will be received at the Hile Funeral Home Inc., 1204 Kerr Ave., Emlenton, from 1-3 and 6-8 Friday.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday in the Chapel at St. Eusebius Cemetery, Rt. 68, East Brady, with the Rev. William Kuba, pastor of St. Eusebius Roman Catholic Church in East Brady, officiating.

Interment will follow in St. Eusebius Cemetery.
