Police: Driver Provides False Information Following Crash in Washington Township

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — Marienville-based State Police say a hit and run crash occurred on May 23 around 12:00 p.m. along State Route 208, in Washington Township, Clarion County.

According to police, an unknown person driving a full size pickup truck was backing out from a parked position in a driveway in Tionesta when it struck the front driver’s side of a 2005 Jeep Liberty.

The driver of the pickup truck provided false information and then fled the scene.

The pickup truck is described as silver in color with black marks and dents all over the rear end.
