Venango Co. Woman Flown to Pittsburgh Hospital After SUV Slams into Trees

CLINTONVILLE, Pa. (EYT) – A local woman was flown to a Pittsburgh hospital following a one-vehicle crash Sunday in the Clintonville area..

Clintonville Volunteer Fire Department Chief Gerry Rea told exploreVenango.com that the accident happened around 10 a.m. on Route 308, just north of Clintonville.

The vehicle, operated by a Clintonville woman, was traveling south when it left the roadway and drove over an embankment before colliding with two trees.

According to Rea, the driver was extracted from the vehicle and flown to UPMC Presbyterian via STAT MedEvac.

A 10-year-old female passenger was transported to Grove City Hospital by Superior Ambulance.
