Clarion Man Escapes Injury in Rollover Crash in Clarion Township

CLARION TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — According to Clarion-based State Police, a one-car accident occurred on Interstate 80 eastbound, at Exit 64 off ramp, in Clarion Township.

Police say around 1:52 a.m. on May 22, 24-year-old Mario G. Chiotti, of Clarion, was traveling east on I-80 and attempted to leave the interstate at Exit 64.

His 2002 Chrysler Sebring left the roadway on the south side, struck an embankment, and overturned, according to police.

He was not injured in the crash.

He was not using a seat belt.

Chiotto was charged with several traffic violations, police say.
