Police: Theft by Deception Reported at Clarion Walmart

MONROE TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – Clarion-based State Police report an incident of Theft by Deception occurred at the Clarion Walmart in Monroe Township, Clarion County.

Police say they are investigating an incident where a known female actor entered into a verbal agreement with a 39-year-old victim for the purchase of a cellular telephone.

The victim forwarded the suspect the agreed upon amount of money, however, the victim never received the telephone. The amount stolen is reported to be $119.50.

The investigation is continuing.

No additional information was released by police.
