West Hickory Man Faces Preliminary Hearing for Alleged DUI on Route 66, Clarion Township

CLARION TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — A West Hickory man has been accused of DUI on State Route 66, in Clarion Township.

According to Clarion-based State Police, around 11:02 p.m. on May 22, 24-year-old Nicholas George Uzmack, of West Hickory, was observed operating a vehicle with an unlit headlight. Multiple traffic violations were also observed.

Police say a traffic stop was conducted, and Uzmack was taken into custody on the suspicion of DUI.

According to court documents, he was charged with the following offenses:

  • DUI: Gen Imp/Incompetent of Driving Safely — 1st Offense, Misdemeanor
  • DUI: High Rate of Alcohol (Bac.10 — .16) 1st Offense, Misdemeanor
  • Driving Unregistered Vehicle, Summary
  • Display Plate Card In Improper Vehicle, Summary
  • Driving While Operator Privileges Suspended Or Revoked, Summary
  • Operating Vehicle W/O Required Financial Responsibility, Summary
  • Careless Driving, Summary
  • Restrictions on Alcoholic Beverages, Summary
  • Operating Vehicle W/O Valid Inspect, Summary

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. on June 23 in front of Magisterial District Judge Duane L. Quinn.
