SALEM TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — Clarion-based State Police say an investigation is being conducted into the death of a 71-year-old female in Salem Township, Clarion County.
According to police, the known 71-year-old female died sometime between June 6 and June 7.
The victim was discovered in her residence by a friend.
During the investigation, it was discovered that the victim had allegedly consumed a large amount of prescription pills causing her death.
The investigation is ongoing.
