Cynthia-Hartsfield-1433939720Cynthia “Cindy” Ann Hartsfield, 58 of Franklin went to be with our Lord at 4:30 pm Sunday, June 7, 2015 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh, surrounded by her loving family.

Born November 29, 1956 in San Francisco, CA, she was a daughter of the late Fred B. and Doris E. Davidson Hartsfield.

Cindy loved cooking out and being outdoors. She loved spending time with her family and friends, especially the children. Cindy also had a passion for all animals. She enjoyed the company of cats and horses but her love for dogs was most grand. She will be missed dearly by her pets Clyde, Miles, Snoz and Booger.

Surviving are sisters Freda McClellan and husband Russell of Rouseville, and Paula Hunton and husband Eric of Sweet Home, OR; brothers Fred Hartsfield and wife Harriette of Oil City and Ronald Hartsfield of Oregon. Her longtime companion Edward Barrett of Franklin also survives.

Also surviving is a nephew Karl Hartsfield and nieces Kimberly Hale and Katie McClelland and several great nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Cindy was preceded in death by her grandparents Paul and Gladys Davidson and Amber and Kate Hartsfield. Her faithful dog Ralph and numerous other household pets are also with her now.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 11 at 1:00 PM at Mountaintop Cowboy Church in Nectarine, PA.

On Saturday, June 13 at 2:00 PM friends and family may gather at Two Mile Run County Park at the Lakeside Pavilion for a celebration of Cindy’s Life.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society or to the SPCA 350 E. Erie Avenue Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 19134.
