Lois J. Heinz, 88, of 1365 State Route 157, died Monday, June 8, 2015 at her residence.
Born April 10, 1927 in New Brunswick, NJ, she was a daughter of the late Carmine Vincent and Elsie Traphagen Darago.
Lois was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking.
On July 19, 1952 in New Brunswick, NJ, she married Carl Royal Heinz, who preceded her in death on June 20, 2000.
Surviving are two children, Leonard Royal Heinz and his wife Margaret Rea, of Corrales, NM and L. Joyce Heinz of Keyser, WV and her fiancé Jon Mullenax; two grandchildren, Julia Heinz Allen of Corrales, NM and David Rea Heinz of Bridgeville, PA and one great granddaughter, Maggie Heinz Allen.
Lois’ family would like to express their gratitude and appreciation to the caregivers who assisted with her care.
There will be no visitation or services.
The family requests memorials be made to the VNA Foundation of Venango County or to a charity of one’s choice.
