SALEM TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — Yesterday afternoon a Strattanville woman was injured in a one-vehicle accident on State Route 208, 738 feet east of County Line Road, in Salem Township, Clarion County.

According to Clarion-based State Police, around 3:18 p.m. on June 10, 27-year-old Kassi L. Elder, of Strattanville, was traveling west on SR 208 and became distracted from a piece of plastic in her window.

Police say Elder’s 2000 Buick LeSabre crossed over into the eastbound lane in front of oncoming traffic.

As Elder attempted to steer the car back into the westbound lane, she lost control of it. It slid across the roadway, struck a ditch, and rolled over onto its roof, according to police.

Elder was using a seat belt and suffered minor injuries.

She was charged with a traffic violation.

Knox Ambulance assisted at the scene.
