Burglary Reported in Farmington Township

FARMINGTON TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — According to Marienville-based State Police, a burglary occurred yesterday at a Farmington Township building located on the west side of State Route 36, Clarion County.

Police say sometime between 6:00 p.m. and 6:20 p.m. on June 13, an unknown perpetrator(s) forced entry into a building owned by Farmington Township, causing damage to the door frame.

Once inside, the perpetrator(s) discharged two fire extinguishers and fled the scene, according to police.

A passerby saw what was believed to be smoke coming from the eaves, called 911, and reported a fire, police say.

The investigation continues.
