MONROE TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — According to Clarion-based State Police, a two-vehicle crash occurred in Monroe Township, Clarion County.

Police say the crash occurred around 1:19 p.m. on June 9 as 74-year-old Patricia M. Huffman, of New Bethlehem, was stopped at a posted stop sign in an active construction zone at the exit 62 on-ramp of Interstate 80 eastbound.

Huffman then entered the eastbound flow of traffic on I-80. As she was merging, the front end of her 2014 Ford Edge impacted the side of a 2010 International Harvester tractor trailer operated by 40-year-old Vladimir Josipovic, of Winfield, IL, according to police.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts and were uninjured, police say.

Huffman was cited with a traffic violation.
