Patricia A. Popson, “Pat”, age 80, of Corsica PA, passed away on Thursday June 18, 2015, at the Punxsutawney Hospital.

She was born on August 3, 1934 to Joseph and Blanche (Ferringer) Takach, in Brookville, PA. She married Richard A. Popson, “Dick”, on January 21, 1955 in Crates, PA, who passed away on July 18, 2002.

She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America in Reynoldsville PA, and enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and needlework, which she displayed in craft shows. She very much enjoyed her dogs, Buster and Max.

She is survived by her 3 sons; Michael D. (Julie) of Reynoldsville, PA; Dennis A. (Christine) of Brookville, PA; Timothy E. of Luthersburg, PA; and 1 daughter, Rebecca A. of Corsica, PA; 1 brother, Richard (Peg) Takach, of South Hills, PA; 8 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents she is preceded in death by 1 daughter, Kathleen Popson Bernhard. Private services will be held by the family. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to a charity of the donors choosing.
