Shippenville Woman Facing Retail Theft Charges

MONROE TWP., Pa. (EYT) – A Shippenville woman is facing retail theft charges stemming from an incident in Monroe Township, Clarion County.

Clarion-based State Police say the incident happened on June 18 at 8:30 a.m. when a known 27-year-old Shippenville woman was stopped by Wal-Mart employees for the retail theft of multiple items.

According to police, the suspect placed the items in her purse and attempted to exit the store.

The items are valued at $82.05.

Police say charges will be filed at District Court 18-3-02.

The name of the suspect was not released.
