MONROE TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — Clarion-based State Police say around 2:45 p.m. on June 20, a two-vehicle accident occurred on Interstate 80 West, in Monroe Township, Clarion County.

According to police, 67-year-old Carol A. Luketic, of Tionesta, and 55-year-old David W. Luedtke, of Haltom City, TX, were involved in the collision.

Police say this crash occurred as a 2012 Toyota RAV4, driven by Luketic, entered the single lane of I-80 westbound traffic at the Exit 62 on-ramp in front of a 1995 Kenworth Aero truck, causing the truck to hit the Toyota in the rear.

Both drivers and a passenger in Luketic’s vehicle — 78-year-old Pauline Holmes, of Tionesta — were using seat belts and were not injured, according to police.

The Toyota sustained moderate damage to the rear bumper and left quarter panel.

The Kenworth sustained moderate damage to the front bumper.

Luketic was charged with a traffic violation.
