Peter J. Silvis, 48 of Brockway/Hazen, PA, died Monday June 22, 2015 at his home.

Born July 27, 1966 in Titusville, PA, he was the son of the late Russel W. Silvis Sr. and Sarah Eisenman Silvis.

Pete graduated from West Forest High School in 1984. He was employed at several area lumber mills and formerly at Clarion University prior to his disability. Pete enjoyed music. He was of the Catholic Faith.

Pete is survived by a son; Heath Silvis of Brookville, a daughter; Selina E. (Ian) Seth of Endeavor, PA, five brothers; James, Kenny, Hank, Paul, George, two grandchildren, and his best little buddy Brayden Connor.

Along with his parents Peter is preceded in death by four brothers; Norman, Walter, Russell Jr. and Mike.

A graveside committal service will be held at a later date at Riverside Cemetery in Tionesta, PA.

Arrangements are being handled by the Furlong Funeral Home, Gregory K. Furlong FD, corner of Broad St. and First Ave., Summerville, PA.
