OI1534257767_image[1]Gerald Raymond Fox, 78, of Parker passed away Monday evening (06-22-15) at the emergency room of Clarion Hospital of natural causes.

Born in Perry twp., Clarion Co. on Oct. 31, 1936, he was the son of the late Willis John and Florence Clawson Fox.

He was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Parker.

Mr. Fox graduated from the former Parker High School , and served with the U.S. Army from Dec. 1959 thru Feb. 1962, much of his service duty being in Germany.

He was employed by the former Pullman-Standard of Butler for over seventeen years. He then operated a plumbing service as well as owing Foxes Hardware in Parker for several years.

He was an avid hunter and enjoyed fishing in Canada for many years as health permitted. He was also an NASCAR fan.

Surviving are his wife, the former Janet Trill whom he married May 23, 1959. Also surviving are two children and spouses, Jacquelyn and Scott Caldwell of Parker and Raymond and Stacey Fox of Emlenton; four grandchildren: Alexander and Jill Caldwell and Emma and Aidan Fox; two sisters: LaDonna (Robert) McIntire of Dayton, Pa. and Cheryl (Andrew) Reedy of Rimersburg; brother Dave (Billie Jo) Fox of West Freedom; several nieces and nephews.
In addition the his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Lizabeth Ann Fox, step-father, Robert Fox, brother Thomas Fox.

Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 Thursday at H. Jack Buzard Funeral Home, 201 So. Wayne Ave., Parker. Funeral services (no church viewing) at 11:00 AM Friday at First Presbyterian Church of Parker. Interment to follow at Parker Presbyterian Cemetery.
