LIMESTONE TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — According to Clarion-based State Police, around 3:38 p.m. on July 2, a two-vehicle accident occurred on State Route 66, at Palmer’s Store, in Limestone Township, Clarion County.

Police say a 17-year-old Clarion male and a 17-year-old Industry male were involved in the collision.

Police say the Clarion teen, driving a 2000 Buick, pulled onto Route 66 from the parking lot into the path of a 2001 Subaru Legacy, driven by the Industry teen.

The Subaru subsequently struck the Buick, causing the Buick to spin counterclockwise and come to a final rest along SR 66 facing southwest, according to police.

The Subaru came to a final rest in the southbound lane facing southeast, police say.

The Clarion teen suffered minor injuries.

A passenger in his vehicle — a 9-year-old Clarion male — was not injured.

Both occupants were using seat belts.

The Industry teen suffered minor injuries; he was using a seat belt.

The Clarion teen was charged with a traffic violation.

Limestone Volunteer Fire Department assisted PSP Clarion at the scene.
