OI984596083_holdenevans[1]Alice R. Holden Evans, 90, a resident of the Golden Living Center in Oil City, died at 6:50 P.M. Friday July 3, 2015 at UPMC-Northwest in Seneca after an extended illness.

Born in Pittsburgh, PA, on Nov. 27, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Charles & Ada Worden Robinson.

Alice was previously married to James Holden and he preceded her in death, she later married James H. Evans on June 6, 1981 and he preceded her in death on April 18, 1994.

Alice had worked as a registered nurse at several hospitals in the Pittsburgh area during her career.

She was a member of Memorial Park Church in Allison Park.

She is survived by two children and their spouses: Barbara Rose & her husband Barry of Niceville, FL, J. Douglass Holden & his wife Kelley of Seneca, PA; 5 grandchildren: Travis (Heather)Rose of FL, Toni (Charles) Osborne of NC, Chad (Jennifer Blaha) Holden of CA, Alyssa Holden and Andrew Holden both of Seneca, PA; and one great grandchild: Cayden Osborne.

She was preceded in death by a sister Mabel Snodgrass.

Their will be no viewing or visitation.

Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
