Charges Pending After Man Strikes Victim with ATV in Tionesta

TIONESTA TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – Marienville-based State Police responded to an assault at a residence along Wagon Wheel Lane in Tionesta Township, Forest County.

This incident occurred at 6:00 p.m. July 2, 2015, when a known 54-year-old man struck a 33-year-old Guys Mills man with an ATV, pinning him under it and against a house, according to police.

The victim suffered minor injuries from the assault.

The suspect then instructed the victim to leave the property.

As the victim was leaving in a van owned by Armstrong Utilities, the suspect rammed into the back of the van with the ATV, causing damage.

The suspect then chased the van south on Route 36 until turning off into a wooded area.

Police say the investigation continues and assault charges are pending against the suspect.

Police did not release the name of the suspect.
