Charles M. Ward, 78, of Ambridge, died Friday, July 3, 2015, at Friendship Ridge after a long illness.

Born August 6, 1936, in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Charles M. and Wanda (Williams) Ward.

He was a graduate if Kiski Preparatory School and Westminster College. He retired as an Educator.

He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Garvin Ward of Ambridge; his daughter, Nyla Shreckengost of Garrett, PA; his granddaughters, Ranie and Aleya Shreckengost; his first wife, Neva Ward of Berlin, PA; his stepsons, Robert and Brian Kightlinger of Ambridge, and step-grandchildren, Victoria, Alexandria and Caulin Kightlinger of Ambridge.

Along with his parents, his twin brother, William and half-brother, David, preceded him in death.

Per his request, there were no services.
