Nancy W. Keller

Keller NancyNancy W. Keller, 75, of Franklin, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 11th surrounded by her family, following a long illness.

Born on May 25, 1940, Nancy was the daughter of the late Kenneth J. Wolfe and Dorothy (Pfeilsticker) Wolfe. In 1971, Nancy married Douglas W. Keller, who survives.

Nancy grew up in Venus, PA, and she and Doug spent much of their lives on Bully Hill. Nancy was a Registered Nurse at Oil City Hospital. She also taught nursing at Clarion University, Venango Campus and worked at Vision Quest.

Nancy was an active member of the Sugarcreek United Methodist Church, where she sang in the choir and helped with church fundraisers. In her spare time, Nancy enjoyed crafting and was particularly known for her homemade pine cone wreaths. She also enjoyed traveling with her family and will be remembered by many as a devoted mother and grandmother.

In addition to her husband, Nancy is survived by her three sons: Kerry Keller, and his wife, Gretchen (Lenze), of Harrisburg; Korey Keller, and his wife, Melanie, of Erie; Thomas McLaughlin, of York; and her two daughters: Kim Green, and her husband, Craig, of Erie; and Cindy Davis, of Corry. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Alexis Keller of Franklin; Gabriel, Miranda, Serena, and Lydia Keller, of Harrisburg; Kyle Green and Kristi Bailey of Erie; and Amie Klakamp of Corry. She additionally is survived by numerous great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her grandson, Craig Green II.

The family would like to acknowledge and thank the staff at Sugarcreek Station for the exceptional care they have provided over the last several years.

Family and friends will be received at the Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin, on Wednesday, July 15th from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m..

Funeral services will follow visitation at 4:00 p.m., with Rev. Randy Kightlinger, chaplain at Sugarcreek Station, officiating. Interment will be held at Franklin Cemetery.
