Francis E. Keverline

Francis E. Keverline, 82, of Venus passed away suddenly on July 22, 2015 at his home.

Born on August 13, 1932 in Pinegrove Twp. he was the son of Mildred (Cropp) and Nicholas Keverline.

He was a 1951 graduate of Cranberry High School.

On May 19, 1956 he was married to the former Arlene Seigworth who preceded him in death in 1996.

Francis retired from Pennzoil in 1995 after over 40 years of service. He and his wife also owned and operated Cover Bridge General Store in Hampton Station.

He enjoyed farming and spending time in the outdoors.

Francis served in the United States Army from 1953 to 1954

He is survived by his sister-in-law Mary Ellen Keverline, a nephew Larry Keverline and his wife Pam of Venus, a niece Lynn Girt and her husband Tim of Erie, a nephew Dean Keverline of Venus, a niece Beth Niles and her significant other Casey Gabler of Oil City, and a nephew Michael Keverline and his wife Beverly of Erie. Caregiver Marcia Rogers of Venus and numerous great nieces and nephews also survive.

Francis was preceded in death by his parents, his step father Merle Albaugh, his wife Arlene, and his brother Myron Keverline.

Friends will be received at the Faller Funeral Home, Inc. in Fryburg on Friday, July 24, 2015 from 7-9 pm and also on Saturday, July 25, 2015 from 9 — 10 am.

Funeral service will be held at 10 am on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at Faller Funeral Home, Inc. in Fryburg, with Rev. Richard Kightlinger, Pastor of United Evangelical Church of Venus presiding.

Interment will be in the Sunset Memorial Gardens in Cranberry following the service.
