State Police Seize Over $27 Million in Heroin and $2.9 Million in Cocaine for the Second Quarter of 2015

HARRISBURG, Pa. (EYT) — Pennsylvania State Police yesterday announced troopers seized over $34 million in heroin, marijuana, and other prohibited drugs in the second quarter of 2015.

In the second quarter of 2015, troopers seized over 80 pounds of heroin and over 64 pounds of cocaine with a combined approximate street value of over $30 million. In addition, state police seized over five pounds of methamphetamines valued at over $240,000. Troopers seized over 797 pounds of marijuana with an estimated value over $2.3 million.

In 2014, the state police seized over $107 million in prohibited drugs.
