CLARION, Pa. (EYT) — To bring together a variety of services and programs aimed at helping senior citizens, Rep. Donna Oberlander (R-Clarion/Armstrong/Forest) will host her Sixth Annual Nifty Sixty Senior Expo on Friday, August 14, from 10:00 a.m. to noon at the Clarion Mall.

“This expo is a great way for senior citizens to learn about programs and services available right here in our own community,” said Oberlander. “The best part is that everyone will be under one roof and seniors will be able to ask questions directly with the experts, without having to call an 800 number or be put on hold.”

To date, more than 30 exhibitors have registered and will offer information about a wide range of topics, including health care and nutrition, recreation, consumer protection and long-term care. A list of confirmed exhibitors is online at www.RepOberlander.com.

Door prizes will be awarded and lunch will be provided.

There is no cost to attend.

A Senior Expo for Armstrong County residents, co-hosted by Reps. Oberlander and Jeff Pyle, along with Sen. Don White, will be held on Tuesday, September 1, at the Kittanning Township Volunteer Fire Department along Route 422.
