Four Injured in Three-Vehicle Crash on Route 28

REDBANK TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — Clarion-based State Police say around 4:27 p.m. on July 24, a three-vehicle accident occurred on State Route 28, south of Shannondale Road, in Redbank Township, Clarion County.

According to police, 44-year-old Valerie L. Gaberseck, of Emporium; 28-year-old Anthony Simoni, of Pittsburgh; and 26-year-old Jaron L. Milliron, of Ringgold, were involved in the collision.

This crash occurred as Milliron was traveling north on SR 28 in his 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited and was stopped to turn left onto Shannondale Road, waiting for oncoming traffic, police say.

Simoni was stopped in a 2010 Ford F150 behind Milliron, waiting for him to turn left, according to police.

Gaberseck was traveling north on SR 28, approaching the Jeep and Ford F150, and failed to see the two units stopped on the roadway. She was unable to stop her 2013 Honda CRV, and the front of the vehicle impacted with the rear of the Ford F150. Upon impact, the front of the Ford F150 impacted with the rear of the Jeep, police say.

Simoni and Milliron were not injured.

Gaberseck and a 6-year-old male passenger, of Emporium, suffered minor injuries. The 6-year-old was transported to Brookville Hospital.

A passenger in Simoni’s vehicle, 27-year-old Ally N. Perry, of Pittsburgh, suffered minor injuries.

A passenger in Milliron’s vehicle, 44-year-old Bill J. Bowser, of Mayport, suffered moderate injuries. He was transported to Brookville Hospital.

All occupants were using seat belts except Bowser.

Clarion Hospital Ambulance assisted at the scene.

Gaberseck was charged with a traffic violation.
