Callensburg Man Accused of Operating Vehicle with Fake Inspection

LICKING TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — Clarion-based State Police say around 5:09 p.m. on July 21, an incident of altered, forged, or counterfeit documents occurred on State Route 58, in Licking Township, Clarion County.

According to police, 42-year-old Shawn Alan Terwint, of Callensburg, possessed and operated a vehicle with an altered and fraudulent certificate of inspection.

According to online court documents, he faces the following charges:

  • Fraud Altered/Forged/Counterfeit Title, Registration, Insurance, Misdemeanor 1
  • Poss/Sale/Use Display Documents, Misdemeanor 1
  • Vehicle Registration Suspended, Summary
  • Driving While Operator’s Privileges Suspended Or Revoked, Summary
  • Operating Vehicle W/O Req’d Financial Responsibility, Summary
  • Operating Vehicle W/O Valid Inspection, Summary

A preliminary arraignment is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on August 12 in front of Magisterial District Judge Jeffrey C. Miller.
