Crews Dispatched to Second Rekindle at Pinegrove Township House Fire

PINEGROVE TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — Firefighters returned to the scene of a Pine Grove Township house fire.

The Venango County 911 center reports the fire first broke out around 3:27 a.m. Friday and then rekindled around 12:40 p.m.

Around 4:06 p.m., Pinegrove Twp, President Twp., and Washington Twp., were called back to the scene for a second rekindle.

Venango County 911 reports the departments were able to successfully extinguish the fire, and the last units cleared the scene at around 7:03 a.m.

Departments responding to the initial call included Pinegrove, President, Seneca, Tionesta, Cornplanter, West Hickory, Rockland, Washington, Knox, Rouseville, and Cornplanter.

No injuries were reported, but Community Ambulance responded to the scene as a precaution.

The American Red Cross was contacted to assist the residents.
