New Bethlehem Woman Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on Route 66

LIMESTONE TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — According to Clarion-based State Police, around 10:31 a.m. on July 31, a two-vehicle accident occurred on State Route 66, at its intersection with E. Reidsburg Road, in Limestone Township, Clarion County.

Police say 20-year-old Haley J. Nolf, of New Bethlehem, and 69-year-old William A. Goodlander, of Venus, were involved in the collision.

According to police, this crash occurred as a 2000 Mazda Millenia, driven by Nolf, entered the intersection of E. Reidsburg Road and SR 66, failing to yield the right of way of Goodlander, who was traveling south on SR 66 in a 2012 Chevrolet Equinox.

The Chevrolet struck the Mazda in the intersection. The Mazda came to a rest approximately 30 feet south of the initial impact, according to police.

The Chevrolet continued traveling in a southern direction, traveling off the east side of the roadway, coming to a rest approximately 160 feet south of the initial impact and approximately 40 feet east of the roadway, police say.

Nolf suffered minor injuries.

Goodlander was not injured.

Both operators were using seat belts.

Nolf was charged with a traffic violation.

Limestone Township Fire Township and Clarion Hospital EMS assisted at the scene.
