HIGHLAND TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — Clarion-based State Police say a one-vehicle accident occurred on Miola Road, south of Robin Lane, in Highland Township, Clarion County.

According to police, around 3:55 p.m. on July 20, 61-year-old Catherine L. Barr, of Clarion, was traveling north on Miola Road, and for an unknown reason, her 2010 Honda CRV exited the roadway off the east shoulder.

The vehicle traveled into a ditch and struck a tree, police say.

Barr was using a seat belt and suffered minor injuries.

The vehicle sustained moderate damage.

Barr was charged with a traffic violation.
