State Police Calls from Clarion County and surrounding areas.

Clarion Township Female Charged with Harassment

Clarion-based State Police say a female resident at Izzy Village in Clarion Township slapped another female resident across the face.

There were no injuries, according to police.

The incident occurred around 11:05 p.m. on August 5.

Harassment charges will be filed, police say.

The name of the suspect was not released.

No other information was provided.

Burglary in Heath Township

Marienville-based State Police are investigating a burglary that occurred at a residence near Camper’s Paradise in Heath Township, Jefferson County.

Police say a Sigel man reported that an unknown actor(s) entered his residence through a locked door and stole $20.00 off of the kitchen counter.

The actor(s) also used the victim’s laptop and wrote comments on a chat page.

Police say the incident occurred on August 6, 2015 between the hours of 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.
