BUTLER COUNTY, Pa. (EYT) — A former New Bethlehem area man now living in Butler County has entered a plea of no contest to charges relating to his alleged sexual contact with an 8-year-old girl in July 2013.

The Butler County Clerk of Courts office confirmed to exploreClarion.com that Jack L. Nulph, now 56, of Connoquenessing, took a plea in July.

Sentencing will take place during August, but Nulph must first be assessed by the Sexual Offenders Assessment Board (SOAB).

Online court documents indicate in July 2013, Nulph was charged with 33 offenses — including 27 felonies — related to the alleged sexual encounters with a then 8-year-old girl.

Online court documents indicate Nulph filed his nolo contendere — or no contest — plea on July 15, 2015, and was ordered to undergo the assessment by the SOAB the same day.
