South Carolina Man Arrested on Drug Charges in Clarion Township

CLARION TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — Clarion-based State Police say an arrest was made at the Woodlands Trailer Court in Clarion Township, Clarion County.

Police say this incident occurred at 10:23 p.m. on August 7, 2015 as 27-year-old Kevin Clevon Rivera, of Summerville, SC, was involved in a disturbance near a residence in Woodlands Trailer Court along South 4th Ave.

According to police, Rivera allegedly fled the scene and then returned in a vehicle.

As Rivera returned in the vehicle a very strong odor of burnt marijuana was allegedly emanating from the vehicle.

Rivera was taken into custody for driving under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance.

Rivera was also charged with driving on a suspended license.
