MONROE TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Clarion-based State Police are investigating an alleged sexual assault of a child that occurred at a residence in Monroe Township, Clarion County.

According to police, an investigation has been initiated upon the report that a 25-year-old woman sexually assaulted a 5-year-old boy.

The nature of the incident is listed as “I.D.S.I.(Involuntary Deviate Sexual Intercourse) and Indecent Assault.”

The incident occurred sometime between July 27, 2015, and July 29, 2015, police say.

The investigation is on-going.

The name of the suspect was not released.
