Larry Lee Stalnaker

Larry Lee Stalnaker, 60 of Cochranton died Monday, August 17, 2015 at his residence after an extended illness.

Born November 15, 1954 in Newark, Ohio, he was the son of Charles Hubert and Orpha Marie Vannest Stalnaker. He married Candyce Ann Stutzman on February 14, 2004 and she survives.

He was a 1972 graduate of Eastern High School and served in the US Air Force for 10 years.

Larry sold real estate for ERA Richmond in Meadville and also worked for Pedersen Insurance in Cochranton for 3 years.

He attended the Cochranton Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, and he was also an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, motorcycle riding, and sailing with his wife Candyce at the Dunkirk Yacht Club. He also cherished time spent with family and friends.

In addition to his wife Candyce, he is survived by a daughter, Stacie Hiott and her husband Lee of Cochranton. 3 granddaughters, Kaleigh Schupp and her husband Jon, Carol Hiott and Rebecca Hiott, a great grandson, Michael Lee Schupp and a brother Jim Stalnaker and his wife Linda of Statesboro, Georgia.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, Charles Milton and John Alden Stalnaker and a sister Joanna (Patti) Stalnaker Hodge.

Friends will be received Tuesday, August 25, 2015, at the Cochranton Christian and Missionary Alliance Church from 1:00pm until 3:00pm. A Celebration of Larry’s life will be 3:00pm on Tuesday from the church with the Rev. John McGarvey, officiating.

Memorials can be made in Larry’s name to the church, 115 S. Franklin St., Cochranton, PA 16314. Dickson Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
