Cheryl R. Bateman, age 49, of Tionesta, PA, went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 21, 2015 at her home in Tionesta.

She was born January 27, 1966 in Madison, Ohio, daughter of Gerald E. Earnest, who survives in Mentor, and Dixie A. (Harrison) Bateman, who survives in Ashtabula, Ohio.

She attended the Tionesta Alliance Church and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving in addition to her parents are two daughters, Chrischelle M. Wagner and her husband Bret of Tionesta; Natasha Shumate of East Hickory, PA. Six grandchildren, Nautica Sharp, Alanah Wagner, Kiarra Wagner, Joel Sorrell, Olivia Sorrell, and Zoey Fishel. A sister, Dawn Cherok and her husband Stephen of Florida.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her adopted Dad, David A. Bateman SR. Also a son in infancy, Josh.

There will be no public visitation. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2015, at 2 PM at the Tionesta Alliance Church with Pastor James R. Evilsizor, officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Tionesta Alliance Church PO Box 409 Tionesta, PA 16353.
