Baker GaryGary D. Baker, 53 of Rocky Grove, died unexpectedly on Tuesday August 25, 2015.

Born January 15, 1962 in Franklin, he was the son of the late Carolyn Fulmer Graham.

He was a 1979 graduate of Rocky Grove High School.

Gary worked as a steel worker for over 15 years at Franklin Industries.

In his earlier years, Gary enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time with his late grandfather, whom he looked to as a father figure.

More recently, he enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren.

On August 22, 2014, he married the former Christa Huff McCarty and she survives.

Also surviving are four children; Amber Baker of Cochranton, Stephanie Kendall and her husband Bud of Cochranton, Justin McCarty and Carley McCarty both of Rocky Grove; two sisters, Debi Lehr and her husband Joey of Erie and Darlene Heffernan and her husband David “Hump” of Sugarcreek; two granddaughters, Aubrie Kendall and Lillian Kendall and numerous nieces and nephews.

Additionally surviving is his grandmother, Marian Irene Fulmer; father in law and mother in law, Bob and Mary Lou Huff of Oil City and his sister in law, Michelle Bemis and her husband Cory and their son Carter of Annapolis, MD.

He was preceded in death by his mother and grandfather, Homer Fulmer.

Funeral arrangements entrusted to Huff Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc. 312 West Park St. Franklin, where family and friends are welcome from 4:00 – 6:00 P.M. on Monday.

Funeral services will be held at 6:30 P.M. On Monday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. David Janz, Pastor of Christ United Methodist Church, officiating.
