Pierce LawrenceLarry Pierce, age 64, of Lickingville, PA, died peacefully at home after a brief illness.

He was the son of the late Donald and Wally Pierce of Clarion and brother of the late Dennis Pierce of Leeper. He is survived by his sister Terry Pierce and her husband Terry Ziminski, his sister-in-law Nancy Suchacek, his nephew Allen Pierce, Allen’s wife Jolene and their children Brianne and Braden. Larry was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Clarion.

Larry was a 1969 graduate of Clarion High School and a 1973 graduate of Penn State, graduating with a degree in Community Development. He was the self-employed owner of Pierce Contracting and a partner in Labor Services, Inc. of Clarion.

He enjoyed outdoor sports: hiking, snow-shoeing, cross-country skiing, and fly fishing. Larry was an avid reader with a special interest in American history.

At Larry’s request, no services will be held. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Goble Funeral Home and Crematory, 330 Wood Street, Clarion. Those wishing to express condolences may leave messages on the online guest book at www.goblefh.net.
