Chaney AmyAmy Jo Hale Chaney, 40, of Sparks, Nevada, formerly of Seneca, died unexpectedly Sunday night, August 23, 2015.

Just last month Amy enjoyed a two week visit with friends and family in Venango County.

Born August 13, 1975, a daughter of Marsha K. Rodgers and the late Jack L. Rodgers of Fryburg, and Harvey H. Hale of Seneca, she was a 1995 graduate of Cranberry High School. Amy graduated from the Nevada Technical Institute of Nursing in Sparks, Nevada.

She is survived by three daughters, Cheyenne, Shania and Shaylee, and the love of her life, Ken LaBella, all of Sparks. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her maternal grandmother Violet L. Rifenberrick of Fryburg; paternal grandmother Lelia Hale of Oil City; two sisters, Tami Sibble of Oil City and Tracy Eakin Kaufman of Franklin; one brother, Richard H. Hale (Juanita) of Edinboro; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Chaney of Dayton, Nevada; her father Jack L. Rodgers; and two grandfathers, Hudson Rifenberrick of Fisher and Richard R. Hale of Oil City.

A funeral service will be conducted Thursday in Sparks, Nevada.
