One Person Injured in Three-Vehicle Crash in Scrubgrass Twp.

SCRUBGRASS TWP., Pa. (EYT) – State Police in Franklin report one person was injured in a three-vehicle crash in Scrubgrass Township, Venango County.

Police say the crash occurred around 12:20 p.m. on August 24 when a 1998 Oldsmobile Regency was pulling out of a parking lot onto State Route 208 and pulled into the path of a 2004 Saturn Ion, which was unable to stop and struck the Regency, which then struck a 2007 Chrysler PT Cruiser parked off the berm.

The unnamed driver of the Ion was not wearing a seat belt and was transported to Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh for treatment of a head injury.

No other injuries were reported.

The Regency was towed from the scene by Hovis Auto Wrecking, while the Ion was removed by Bert Snyder Auto Sales.

Emlenton Fire Department assisted at the scene.

The names of the individuals involved were not released.
