UPDATE: I-80 Reopens After Three-Vehicle Crash in Beaver Township

BEAVER TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Sources say around 3:15 a.m. this morning Interstate 80 in Clarion County reopened after a three-vehicle crash shut down a portion of it yesterday.

According to Clarion County 911, the accident happened around 6 p.m. on August 27 near mile marker 53.

Sources say Stat MedEvac was dispatched to a landing zone near the scene.

Clarion-based State Police, Knox VFD, Knox EMS, and Clarion Hospital EMS were on the scene.

A portion of Interstate 80 eastbound between St. Petersburg and Knox was closed. Traffic was re-routed off the St. Petersburg/Emlenton exit (45) to Route 38.
