Police Investigating Retail Theft in Monroe Township

MONROE TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Clarion-based State Police say around 3:12 p.m. on August 29, a retail theft occurred at Walmart, on Perkins Road, in Monroe Township, Clarion County.

An investigation has begun into a retail theft that occurred at Walmart, according to police.

A 40-year-old Leeper woman failed to scan and pay for several items at the self-checkout when she was purchasing other items, police say.

The stolen merchandise consists of clothing and Armor All wheel cleaner totalling $88.39, according to police.

No other information was provided.
