Police: Clarion Woman Arrested for Providing False ID

REDBANK TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – Clarion-based State Police say a Clarion woman faces charges after she allegedly provided police with a false identification during a traffic stop.

According to police, around 10:28 p.m. on September 2, a vehicle was stopped for a traffic violation along State Route 28 in Redbank Township. The driver of the vehicle, identified as Joshlynn Danae Hughes, 38, of Clarion, allegedly did not possess any means of identification and provided her ex-wife’s name as her own.

Police say Hughes was placed in the Clarion County Jail for outstanding probation violation warrants in Allegheny County.

She faces charges of providing false identification to law enforcement (third-degree misdemeanor) and driving while operating privilege is suspended or revoked for DUI related reasons; driving without a license; and failure to maintain traffic lane (summary offenses).
