Mayport Man Allegedly Resists Arrest in New Bethlehem

NEW BETHLEHEM, Pa. (EYT) – A Mayport has been charged after he allegedly resisted arrest in New Bethlehem, Clarion County.

According to court documents, Robert Leonard Franklin, 25, of Mayport, faces misdemeanor charges of resisting arrest and engaging in disorderly conduct, using obscene language or gestures following an incident that occurred on September 2 in New Bethlehem Borough.

He also faces two misdemeanor charges for use or possession of drug paraphernalia and summary counts of criminal mischief damage to property and public drunkenness or similar misconduct.

A preliminary arraignment has been scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on September 23 with District Judge Jeffrey Miller presiding.
