Walters read the proclamation during the October 6 meeting of Clarion Borough Council.

The local Eagles Club last year donated over $105,000.00 to local activities and fundraisers, including the local Little League, the Clarion County Historical Society, several local Volunteer Fire Departments, boosters for various school and athletic activities, and the Clarion-Forest VNA.

The Eagles Club has also been a big sponsor of the Clarion County Y.M.C.A., and even recently donated $50,000.00 toward the capital campaign for the new Y.M.C.A. facility.
