ALLEGHENY TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Franklin-based State Police say a motorcycle accident occurred around 4:10 p.m. on October 12 on Pithold Road, at its intersection with Pleasant Valley Drive, in Allegheny Twp., Venango County.

According to police, 61-year-old Marc Jablonski, of Hubbard, OH, was traveling south on Pithole Road at its intersection with Pleasant Valley Road. He lost control of his 2015 Harley-Davidson motorcycle when it came upon some loose gravel near the intersection.

The motorcycle traveled onto the right berm and went into a shallow ditch, then it laid on its left side on the shoulder, police say.

Jablonski’s leg was pinned by the motorcycle, breaking his ankle, according to police.

Community Ambulance Service transported him to UPMC Northwest for moderate injuries, police say.

Pleasantville Volunteer Fire Department and Community Ambulance Service assisted at the scene.

Jablonski was charged with a traffic violation.
