Driver Injured After Car Crashes into House Along Route 68

MONROE TWP., Pa. (EYT) – State Police in Clarion responded to a one-vehicle crash around 2:34 p.m. Saturday in Monroe Township, Clarion County.

Police say a 22-year-old Courtney Berst, of Cranberry, was traveling south on Route 68 near Kifer Road when she lost control of her 2003 Jeep Liberty on the wet roadway.

Berst’s vehicle exited the roadway and traveled through a yard before crashing into a house.

Police say Berst’s vehicle then struck a tree before traveling down an embankment and rolling onto its side.

Southern Clarion County EMS transported Berst to Clarion Hospital for treatment of moderate injuries.

Sligo Volunteer Fire Department also assisted at the scene.
